SURIDAH JALALUDDIN
Prior to joining ntv7, Suridah a founding shareholder of Big Tree Outdoor Sdn. Bhd., started her career in PR & Advertising with Malaysia’s pioneer private TV station TV3 at its inception, and later moving to L’Oreal, London. On her return, Suridah became a director of a local advertising agency working on accounts such as Marlboro, Maybank, PLUS and LADA.
Suridah set up Big Tree in 1994 and spearheaded the birth of a new breed of outdoor media operators in Malaysia – one that specializes in concession-based assets with a sales team that is trained to be strategic outdoor consultants.
Big Tree operates differently from traditional outdoor companies – with a team that comes with skill sets from a diversified range of industries, an in-house creative team and a recently set up unit to manage Research and Marketing.
Suridah says her greatest achievement in the past 12 years has been to watch the team grow to own the business and her professional philosophy is to make the business of outdoor, professional, honest, challenging yet fun.
Suridah was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of ntv7 in November 2008.
