AMIL IZHAM HAMZAH

Amil Izham Hamzah, 34, is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Media Prima Berhad (MPB). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Merit) from University of New South Wales, Australia, Masters in Business Administration from Berne University, Switzerland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Amil was a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Perth Australia, from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000, he was a Finance Executive with Petronas Penapisan Melaka / Malaysian Refining Company before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kuala Lumpur, from 2000 to 2002 as a Manager in the firm's Assurance and Business Advisory Services.

Amil joined Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (TV3) in 2002 as a Finance Manager at the time when the TV3 Group was undergoing its financial and operational restructuring exercises. Subsequently, he was appointed as the General Manager, Finance of TV3 in 2003 and in 2005, was appointed as the Group General Manager, Finance for the Television Networks Division of MPB, a division that oversees the finance function of the 3 television stations within MPB. He was also involved with MPB's acquisitions of ntv7, TV9, FlyFm and HotFM in 2005 and the acquisition of Big Tree Outdoor.

He was appointed to his current position from 1 January 2006.
