In November 2009, Media Prima announced its acquisition of the country’s second largest putdoor advertising company, Kurnia Outdoor Sdn Bhd and Jupiter Outdoor Network Sdn Bhd (collectively known as "Kurnia").

The acquisition has not only strengthened the Group’s hold on concession-based sites but has also provided further access to the high-end and key market centre sites that Kurnia currently operates.
