Kuala Berang, 2 January 2016: Media Prima Berhad (“Media Prima” or “the Group”), Malaysia’s leading fully integrated media investment group today, distributed Back to School vouchers to 250 school students who achieved good results in the 2015 Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR).
The programme, which is part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative hopes to motivate and encourage the students to strive harder for academic success and at the same time, acknowledged their effort, persistence and determination in delivering their personal best.
Each of the UPSR achievers were given a voucher for Back to School Items for the coming school semester. The event also saw the distinguished presence of Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, YB Dato’ Jailani bin Johari, who officiated the ceremony and also presented excellence awards to the top students. Also present were Datuk Kamal Khalid, Chief Executive Officer, Media Prima Television Networks and representatives from the Group.
Also in attendance were top personalities from TV3 and Hot FM who entertained students with fun and games based activities.

The programme today is part of our ongoing commitment to engage and provide assistance to various communities across the country. We hope to instil the importance of academic achievements and the spirit to pursue excellence amongst the younger generation.” said Datuk Kamal Khalid, Chief Executive Officer Media Prima Television Networks.
The ceremony was also attended by the student’s parents and teachers.
