In 2013, continued to consolidate its leading position in the industry by capturing 3.4 million listeners. Hot FM also secured No.1 positions for both the 10am – 4pm segment (for listeners aged 18 – 29) and 4pm – 8pm segment (for listeners aged 18 – 24), all whilst recording a stellar 62% growth in new listeners from the southern region.
Fly FM is dedicated for audiences from 15 to 30 years of age, with a total of 375,000 loyal listeners; it is Malaysia’s Number Two English radio station for listeners below the age of 35. Significantly, in 2015 the station saw an increase of 48% in the number of listeners amongst Professionals, Managers and Businessmen (PMEBs), and an encouraging 8% growth in new listenership in the southern region.
Our Mandarin-Cantonese station that reaches out to all Chinese audiences between 15 and 30 years of age, successfully registered a listenership of 918,000 in 2013 – its best performance in five years of operation and it is the Number Three Chinese radio station of the country.
Kool FM is a Malaysian-Malay language radio station catered to the Gen-Ys. Launched on 1 March 2016, Kool FM play songs from the 80s and 90s as well as popular hits both locally and abroad, with an added genre of dangdut added to its playlist.
