Kuala Lumpur, 12 Januari 2014 – “Game On”! Anugerah Juara Lagu, acara hiburan terbesar anjuran TV3 yang dinanti-nantikan oleh para penggiat dan pemuzik tanah air bakal memperlihatkan pertarungan hebat 12 buah lagu terbaik hasil nukilan serta garapan komposer dan penulis lirik tempatan pada 26 Januari 2014 untuk dinobatkan sebagai Juara Lagu di Anugerah Juara Lagu 28 (AJL 28).

Bagi menyemarakkan lagi AJL 28 dan sebagai tanda penghargaan kepada penonton setia TV3, Jelajah AJL 28 telah diadakan di Busana @ Menara MARA sebagai penaja lokasi Jejalah AJL 28, pada hari ini (12 Januari 2014) dari jam 2.00 – 6.00 petang. Antara finalis AJL 28 yang menyertai jelajah dan menyanyikan lagu-lagu yang dipertandingkan ialah Jaclyn Victor, Stacy, Hafiz, Awi Rafael & Altimet, Azlan & The Typewriter, Hazama, Hyper Act, dan Najwa Latif. Selain berpeluang untuk beramah mesra dengan finalis AJL 28, para peminat juga dapat menyertai pelbagai aktiviti seperti Guitar Hero dan Drum Battle dengan mereka serta memenangi hadiah menarik.

Hampir tiga dekad sejak penganjurannya, Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) bertujuan memartabatkan industri muzik tanahair terutamanya memberi penghormatan kepada komposer dan penulis lirik. Diangkat sebagai acara muzik tahunan berprestij tempatan, Anugerah Juara Lagu ke 28 (AJL 28) memperkenalkan ‘Game On’ sebagai konsep dan tema persembahan pada tahun ini. Arus pembangunan industri muzik tanah air sentiasa membuka ruang kepada penggiat muzik yang sentiasa berani menyahut cabaran dan menggalakkan eksperimen baharu dalam membentuk seni muzik yang lebih inovatif.

Menurut Cik Sherina Nordin, Pengurus Besar Kumpulan, TV3 & TV9, “Tanpa sokongan besar daripada penonton setia TV3 yang diberikan kepada Muzik-Muzik selama 28 tahun, Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) tidak mungkin dapat mencipta fenomena di seluruh negara. Selain berhibur dengan persembahan nyanyian, Jelajah AJL 28 juga memberi peluang kepada finalis AJL 28 untuk bersantai dan melakukan aktiviti beriadah bersama-sama para peminat.”

AJL 28 akan bersiaran secara langsung dari Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil bermula 9.00 – 11.30 malam pada 26 Januari 2014. Saksikan persembahan hebat daripada 12 artis berkumpulan dan solo seperti Salammusik (Aku Pelat), Black (Takkan Terpisah), Aizat Amdan & Noh Salleh (In Love With You), Hyper Act (Hanya Aku), Stacy (Bosan), Hafiz (Bahagiamu Deritaku), Hazama & The Penglipurlara (Penglipur Lara), Jaclyn Victor (Ikut Rentakku), Najwa Latif feat Sleeq & Syamkamarul (Sahabat), Azlan & The Typewriter (Tanda Tanya), Alyah (Kau Yang Terindah), dan Awi Rafael & Altimet (Kalau Aku Kaya).

Orang ramai yang ingin menyaksikan AJL 28 di Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil juga berpeluang mendapatkan tiket-tiket VIP yang eksklusif melalui Hot FM. Di samping itu, tiket-tiket percuma boleh diperolehi di Balai Pengawal, Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama pada 23 Januari 2014 bermula jam 2.00 petang. Tiket adalah berdasarkan siapa cepat dia dapat.
