KUALA LUMPUR – April 09, 2018 – One of South East Asia’s leading production houses, Primeworks Studios (PWS), today announced their partnership with The RightsXchange Limited (TRX), the global online deal-making tool that enables TV rights buyers and sellers from around the world to connect and complete licensing deals entirely online.

In its bid to push Asian stories to the world, PWS hopes that this partnership will allow them to reach more international buyers. The deal sees close to 300 hours of Asian content available to TV rights buyers globally including drama series, feature films as well as one of Malaysia’s top animated series, Ejen Ali.

“This partnership with TRX will enable PWS to showcase our content to buyers that we usually do not have access to. We strongly believe in the stories that are being churned out from our region which is why we are tireless in our efforts to drive the content to international platforms and audiences,” said Ahmad Izham Omar, CEO of Primeworks Studios.

Primeworks Studios is one of the many content distributors to join TRX since its global launch in October, 2017.

“We are delighted to welcome Primeworks Studios, one of South East Asia’s leading production houses, on to TRX, and be a part of their mission to expand the footprint of Asian content globally. We want TRX to be a truly international offering for our buyers and PWS content is a most welcome addition. We are passionate about connecting the right people to do business and we are looking forward to making that possible for PWS as well,” said Matthew Frank, CEO TRX.

Other titles available from PWS on TRX include – Pekak (winner of Best Script and Best Actor at Russia’s International Motivational Film Festival – Bridge Of Arts 2016), Rembat (Best Script, Best Director, Best Actor nominee at the 28th Malaysian Film Festival) and Ejen Ali (Highly Commended at the 22nd Asian Television Awards).
