Home Shopping Network joins forces with top vendor HETCH  in the battle against COVID-19

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 August 2021 – WOWSHOP,  a subsidiary of Malaysia’s leading fully integrated media company, Media Prima Berhad and Malaysia’s most beloved Home Shopping network, has proudly embarked on its very first Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) campaign with HETCH, a top vendor on the platform through, its WOWSHOP X CARES campaign.

The campaign was launched on 20 July 2021 via WOWSHOP’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts, and notifications via email and media to all its customers. It will run till 31 August 2021, and  is aimed at giving back to the nation in battling the Covid-19 pandemic by contributing to Government hospitals via the collection of funds. 

The funds will be channeled towards the purchase of medical equipment in treating Covid-19 patients, as well as other patients, through the Bantuan Kemanusiaan Covid-19 campaign under the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund (“MPNHF”). For every HETCH product sold on WOWSHOP’s multiple platforms during the campaign period, a total of RM10 will be donated to MPNHF’s Bantuan Kemanusiaan Covid-19 campaign.

The company decided to kick off their first CSR campaign during the pandemic as part of its commitment to being a responsible business entity, especially during a time when support and assistance to those affected by the Covid-19 infection is much needed. It is also a gesture of appreciation to the frontliners who have been working endlessly during this crisis.
